Purchase: State Line Tack had a bonus pack that included a large bottle and a smaller one for $12.99. They also have a larger jug type with a sprayer wand on it that a friend had purchased.
Likes: I have used the larger one with the wand sprayer, and it is a good concept. Similar to a garden sprayer or something like that which is nice because you can spray all over your horse, even under the belly, without having to reach or worry about a bottle sprayer not working at a funny angle. The fly spray itself has a nice fragrance as well, almost baby powder like smell to it. It did an average job at keeping flies off of my horse. And the price is pretty good compared to some of the other brands. And it did not irritate his skin like some other brands as well.
Dislikes: My horse is 'thin skinned' and very sensitive to flies and sprays as well. Unfortunately, this did not work very well for him. It was better than no fly spray at all, but just not enough for him I guess. It does not provide for 35 days of protection like it is advertised though.
Quality: The bottle construction is just like any other sprayer I guess. The smaller bottle that came with it was nice to through in my saddle bags for trail rides though.
Summary: I wouldn't recommend it for someone who needs extra strength type of fly control. I would say it is average, if your horse doesn't mind the flies too much, it will help.
