Purchase: I purchased two of these blankets at the Franklin Saddler five years ago for $165.00 ea. which I thought was a reasonable price.
Likes: These blankets have been worn for five years and washed a number of times and they are still waterproof and look like new when they come out of the washer. The buckles did not rust and the leg straps are original.
Dislikes: There is nothing I dislike about these blankets. They are very durable.
Quality: The construction and quality are 100% great.
Summary: I would recommend the Bucas brand to anyone who owns horses. I have wasted a lot of money on other brands that claim they were waterproofed. I have also purchased another brand at a cost of close to $300 that didn't even make it a month without the front buckles falling off.
If you want a good investment - Invest in a Bucas, you can't beat it.
