Purchase: I bought this saddle almost four years ago at Pleasant Ridge Saddlery, a tack shop not far from home. I tried three saddles of this brand and this one fit best. I paid $1399.00-Canadian.
Likes: This is a real nice looking saddle. It's fits well. The tree has the right 'rock, twist and flair' for my appendix mare.
Dislikes: The only complaint I have is that the seat is very hard. My seat bones complain horribly and I can feel them right away and that feeling doesn't go away. I ride 3 to 4 times a week so it's not like I'm soft. When we jog over poles and her stride is choppy, my back will get sore from the concussion.
Quality: The construction of this saddle is good. The stitching, stamping, conchos, underneath, everything is nice...except for the rock hard seat.
Summary: I don't regret buying this saddle as I know how hard it is to get a nice looking good quality saddle that fits my horse. But as I reach my late 30's I need a saddle that not only fits her, but I need one that has cushioning in the seat.
