Purchase: Champion wraps run in the same price range as most brands, but not everywhere sells them. Look for them online or call your local tack shops. I bought the first set of Champion standing wraps about 10 years ago. I know that as of now, Rick's Heritage Saddlery sells Champion wraps in many colors. The site is www.saddlesource.com

Likes: EVERYTHING! Champion wraps stand the test of time. I still have those ones from 10 years ago and they are in great shape. I have never needed to replace a set. These wraps are the proper size in every direction, durable, yet flexible fabric, and just the right amount of stretch to wrap well but not be too much of a risk. The velcro is nice and wide just how I like it as opposed to some brands having very thin velcro. Champion does offer a wide range of colors these days as well....they even come in a beautiful grey color, which is usually hard to find.

Dislikes: NOTHING! I just wish Champion would be as recognized as they deserve to be!

Quality: The quality is first-class at a normal price. The fabric is heavy duty...especially compared to most wraps these days. With many other standing wraps, you can see through the fabric! That's impossible with Champion. They last forever, and everything about them is the highest quality.

Summary: Most people, when it comes to wraps, don't put much thought into the brand. As a professional trainer, breeder, and farm owner of 20 years who puts horses first, I can tell you that Champion brand is my ONLY choice when it comes to all standing and polo wraps. Not all wraps are the same, and out of many attempts, I have never found a brand that even comes close to the quality of Champion. Believe me, it is worth the extra effort to find and purchase these wraps. You keep brand name in mind for everything else you buy for you and your horse; why not also with something as important as this?
