Purchase: I bought it used (for about 1 year) on eBay for $1400 with shipping. I needed a dressage saddle and liked a Prestige jump saddle I had ridden in.
Likes: I love how much wither clearance it has. It fit a high withered horse well even with the tree a little too wide. Surely a quality saddle and is well made. Also, it has a loop to tie down the top flap with the front billet. The padded flap added a little extra grip. It also has a generous channel for the horse's back. The tree is somewhat adjustable professionally.
Dislikes: The position it puts me in. It cut into the back of my thighs (and my friend who tried it hated it). Also, when I posted I was catapulted into the air! Seriously! I could not post and hold my shoulders well at all, and all of the added motion made my horse quite unhappy! The knee blocks felt a little to close- too far back. I felt my kneecap grabbing when I was posting.
Quality: Very good quality. It is a little heavy for a saddle that does not have a wooden tree, though. The V-billet system is nice as well.
Summary: TRY BEFORE YOU BUY! I think it is made for a very petite person. If you have a butt this will not fit you. My thinner friend found it painful, and she has no butt but her hips are a little wider. Definitely try it before you commit to buying one - I resold it for a loss!
