Purchase: how- i bought it from my barrel racing trainer
where- in pipe creek, texas
why- i needed a barrel saddle and my trainer recommended hers
Likes: i like how you can feel your horse, almost as if your riding bareback but it has a horn and stirrups. there is absolutely no tree in it so it fits any of the horses i put it on. it is VERY comfertable. i remember the first day i rode in it my horse took a "poo-poo" and i was wierded out because i could feel it so easily!!
Dislikes: i dont like the fact that i cant get the suade redone on it. it would take much more work and money than to redo the seat of a regular saddle.
Quality: the saddle is a reddish color, with 4 large silver plates and heart conchos on it. it has no tree! the fenders for the stirrups seem to adjust to your leg even. for a nearly 6 year old saddle, it stayed in good condition the whole way through and i will be using it for a LONG time down the road.
Summary: i love this saddle and i would reccomend it to anyone. if your a barrel racer, it will do great things for your horse, or if you are just a rider looking for a good saddle, this is a great brand of saddlle to bye. you will have great memories with your saddle just like i had with mine!
