Purchase: I bought this from new State Line Tack last month for $70 (it was on clearance)
I needed a tough, waterproof, breathable midweight turnout for my high withered, playful TB cross.
Likes: I love this turnout. Out of all of the blankets and sheets I've bought for this horse, this one seems to fit the best. Whereas most I've tried before have dug into or sat on his withers, this one sits in front of the withers, without pulling, and it hasn't rubbed. I also love the tail flap, which hopefully will help Mr.Itchybutt not rub half his tail off. We'll see. One can hope, anyway.
Has also held up to moderate use so far (hasn't been that cold yet!)
Dislikes: I'm not a huge fan of the color (sky blue), but as we all know, it will be so dirty by the end of this winter/spring, you won't be able to see the original color anyway. Color isn't a deal breaker for me, and I guess they have it in other colors, just didn't have any on hand when I bought this one.
Quality: Very well made, tough (1200D I think, not a rip yet, knock on wood!) No quality issues with this so far. Seems to be everything it's claimed to be.
Summary: For what I paid for this, I don't think I could have found a better deal. Rambo's are nice, but I'm not going to pay over $200 for something my horse is going to rip and roll around in if I can find an equivalent quality replacement for well under that price.
I'm very happy with my purchase, and will probably buy a light sheet and heavyweight to boot.
