Purchase: I bought these so long ago that I can't remember where I got them from, but I know they were CAD$30.
Likes: These bell boots are the most DURABLE bell boots I have ever used. They have stood up to over 8 years of use on several different horses. After 8 years my Westropp Petals Bell Boots are now at the point of being retired. I'll buy a new set with 4 extra straps, and use my old boots for replacement petals.
The boots are COMFORTABLE for the horse. I have not had these rub on any horse.

Dislikes: The boots are HARD TO FIND!
The STRAPS have a tendency to wear out quickly (about once every two years), but are cheap and easy to replace.
I have had to replace a few PETALS along the way, so I would reccommend buying a Spare Petal Package (about CAD$6) when you purchase them. Not a "bad" thing about the boots, actually I like the fact that you can replace the petals.
Quality: The only construction complaints is the straps wearing out. The boots do their job.
Summary: I would reccommend these boots to anyone! These are great for young horses as well since the boots make a clicking noise (which is why they're sometimes refered to as "clicker" bell boots) when the horse puts their feet down - good for young horses to get used to.
