Purchase: I have a 6 year old TWH x MFT Gelding. He was on this product when I got him. He was taken off of it for a few weeks and his hooves started to weaken considerably. I immediately put him back on it. He is in the last month of his loading dose right now. I pay about $27 for a 10lb bucket depending on which company/tack store I get it from.
Likes: My gelding is white with pink skin and white hooves. Each month when the farrier comes he comments on the strength of my horses hooves despite their color. He gets ridden over gravel and in an arena. He gets washed quite often and spends about half the time in a stall and the other half in a pasture. Despite the moisture fluctuations and different medium he hardly ever loses shoes (he lost them when we took him off the supplement)
The flavor of this product is great. Casper loves it and he is a very finicky eater.
Dislikes:
Quality: Wonderful quality available in units perfect for the single horse owner and in bulk for the large scale operator.
Palatable for even the most picky eater.
Summary: Wonderful product. I will continue to buy it every month.
