Purchase: I purchased this saddle from an online tack store for my daughter for her birthday. I paid about $800 for it with fittings and shipping.
Likes: It has completely molded to the horse she rides - he is a 17 hand oldenberg! And the flaps have molded nicely to her leg providing that nice close contact feel that the saddle was purchased for. We like the leg rolls because they provide a feeling of security that other models without leg flaps don't have. The seat is soft need I say more. And unlike another reviewer who rated poorly the dye - ours has been through the rain, through water hazards - she is an eventer. And looks like new - we have simply had to oil it. We are using the courbette leathers as well. My daughter is moving up to the Young Riders Eventing Program next year and this saddle will go with her - she simply loves it. We couldn't have gotten a better saddle for the money!
Dislikes: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
Quality: We haven't had any trouble with anything on this saddle, it is used about 3 times a week. And has seen all weather conditions. She has let a few borrow it who did not previously like close contact saddles, but loved hers.
Summary: Fabulous saddle for the price! Value!
