Purchase: I ordered this saddle through an online tack shop. The cost was just around $800, which is the main reason for the purchase.
Likes: I really like the way this saddle looks. It is a beautiful leather. I bought the Newmarket color and think it looks great. The seat fits me well. And although it isn't not cushy it is comfortable once broken in.
Dislikes: Although the saddle fits me well when my feet are out of the stirrups, when in it fits my leg wrong and puts me in a funny position. I have had this saddle now for over a year and after all this time have just concluded that there is something about the way the stirrup bars are placed that does this. I can not say that it would be the same for everyone, but if you do try the saddle, I would be extra aware of how your leg comes down in the stirrups.
Quality: This saddle is very well made, especially for the price point.
Summary: Bottom line is that I feel the need to get a different saddle because of the placement of my legs in this saddle. I have recently ridden in other people's saddles and felt much more stable. However, I feel that this is a personal fit and would still recommend this saddle for someone else, simply with the caveat to check the placement of your leg when you try it out.
