Purchase: This saddle goes for about $1500-$1600 new. I bought this saddle off of ebay. It was slightly used, but in mint condition. I was really lucky paying only $1000 (not including shipping), to get the saddle along with Herm sprenger stirrups, leathers, a girth, and a saddle cover!
Likes: I really like this saddle, because I needed a saddle that I could jump in, but due to my very long thigh bone, I was having a difficult time finding a saddle to fit me. This saddle is an "extra" which gives me and extra long, extra forward flap. Even though It's a jumping saddle, I'm still able to do flatwork in it. I absolutely love this saddle!
Dislikes: So far, I I love everything about this saddle!
Quality: The first thing I noticed when I took this saddle out of the box was the stitching. It was perfect!The leather it VERY soft, and the more I oil it, I'm sure it will soften up even more. The two toned leather is gorgeous! If only want a black saddle, I would still try this out because you really can't see a lot of the brown, because most of it is under your leg. Because the saddle is both brown and black, it doesn't matter what color bridle you have!
Summary: The is a really awesome saddle, perfect for us with us with long legs!
