Purchase: I needed new paddock boots for riding because my old ones were falling apart. I've heard a lot about comfort and quality of Ariats so I bought this brand new pair on Ebay for $70.
Likes: It took a few rides to break in, but once they did they fit great. I like the zipper option for easy on and off. They look great and I can walk around in them all day without discomfort. I really like to ride in them because I feel like they support my foot and cradle my ankle. My old boots were so soft I felt like I was riding in slippers, no support at all. These boots clean up great too.
Dislikes: There is really not much I don't like about these boots. After 2 years of wear the black color has faded a bit, but I guess thats normal. The price is probably my least favorite. Ariat products are worth the money, but I just can't afford to pay full price. Thats why I shop on Ebay!
Quality: Leather, sole, elastic and zipper are great quality. With regular cleaning they still look great after 2 years of wear. I expect them to last for a few more years for sure.
Summary: If you want comfortable, good quality and supportive paddock boots Ariats should be your choice. I even wear these to work or school sometimes, because they are so comfortable and look great with jeans. I will buy another pair when these wear out.
