Purchase: I bought these on Ebay for $15, I think they retail for about $27. I wanted something to protect my boots from all the mud at the barn.
Likes: These are very easy to put on your boots, they work for tall boots and paddock boots. They keep all the mud, snow and dirt out of your nice clean leather boots. The are great to ride in because the rubber sole is textures to make your foot stay in the stirrup iron. I found these had more grip than the soles of my boots. I always ride in these when its muddy. I love how easy it is to clean them, just throw in the washing machine and they come out like new! The also come with a storage case so you don't loose one.
Dislikes: I think they are a bit pricey in the catalogue, but they are definitely worth it because of how well they work.
Quality: The quality is first class. After many washings and lots of wear they still look brand new. I've used them on and off for about 2 years. These things will last!
Summary: I have tried the cheaper rubber covers for boots, but I didn't like them. The Futi is much easier to put on and since its stretchy fabric it conforms to any shape boot. I definitely recommend these to save your expensive show boots or paddock boots when is muddy outside. They also work to keep your tall boots clean before you go into the show ring.
