Likes: I like the rubber material they has used, it doesn't collect weeds, is easy to clean, durable, doesn't chafe, quick and easy to put on and remove.
Dislikes: I fully like these boots. I have had them for about 6 years. You do have to make sure that you don't put them on too tight, as the crank closure they use could easily allow you to do so. I've never had a problem with this, but I have heard others who did!
Quality: The construction is a rubber outer, and neoprene (I think) inner. The way the neoprene is made makes it very durable. They use a simple velcro tab "crank" closure.
Summary: If you want a splint boot that provides protection only (this is not a support boot) then this is a great product for you! I use these splints on the hind legs where the protection is needed, but the support isn't so much. I also use them on the front legs when I am trail riding as the burrs and weeds don't get stuck in them.
