Purchase: I received a pair of Summit Tall winter boots as a gift. What a gift they really turned out to be! My first time to wear them occurred with an unexpected late night trip to the barn. In the rush to aid an ailing horse I inadvertently locked my keys and cell phone in my car. After the vet left I returned only to discover I couldn't get in my car or even call anyone for help. For the next several hours those Ariats kept my feet nice and "toasty". Not only stylish they out performed my expectations. I still have and wear them and hope at sometime to replace them with the new Glaciers. I became sold on Ariats!
Likes: I first was drawn to the distinct style, then the options the Summits offered. I also wanted a lined winter boot that offered warmth and didn't require buying a larger size then wearing more than one pr of socks.
I loved the fit, the sole construction for comfort, the nice toasty lining, they had a waterproof foot AND real leather from the ankle up. A great boot.
Oh, did I mention they are durable, I still wear them.
Dislikes: I loved the double strap of the Summits but they no longer make that style. :(
Quality: They were constructed of top quality materials, leather upper but waterproof foot, great warm lining..Top Quality all the way.
Summary: Well, all I can say is you never know what the day may hold for you... and its always best to be prepared. Having a pr (or two ;) ) of warm Winter Ariats ... IS being prepared.
