Purchase: tiedown saddlery in los altos had their sale and i went in to find tall field boots. they were 230 and had a zipper. i bought a half size bigger to put an ariat footbed in it (as recommended by the sales clerk).
Likes: verrry soft leather, broke in right away and looked like custom boots on my leg. they are gorgeous and the zipper has yet to break
Dislikes: the boot laces were actually this stretchy material, i'm planning on switching it with real laces. they also gave me blisters where the spur rests were, but moleskin helped that
Quality: very good quality, soft and supple leather, look like custom boots the way they fit me
Summary: i love these boots, i can deal with the blisters (the first few days were horrible) and the laces. the leather is so soft and the ability to buy them one day and ride in a show the next was amazing
