Purchase: Found this used, from tacktrader.com for $800 (retails for $1400). Needed it for trail riding.
Likes: After riding English/dressage for a few years, I decided to do trails. Switching to western made it difficult to find a saddle in which I felt centered and balanced. Also have a short/wide backed horse. Circle Y Flex Arabian Tree fit the bill. Wonderful fit for my horse and so comfortable. There is "give" in the seat and my horse moves on out in it. Nice soft and flexible leather seat and fenders. No stress on my knees or ankles (do not need stirrup turners).
Dislikes: Can't think of anything I don't like about this saddle.
Quality: Excellent all the way around. I know others with Circle Y saddles and they last for years.
Summary: Well worth the money. No other saddle like Circle Y in my book. I would highly recommend it especially for older riders who have special consideration for their knees or backs.
