Purchase: I bought this saddle off of horse.com for around $250. I went with this saddle because of the price, and a friend of mine had one that I found rather comfortable.
Likes: It is a nice, comfortable saddle and is also very inexpensive. I used my saddle heavily for a year and a half, and the stitching and billets are still holding up fairly well.
Dislikes: The color does not last. You could see it coming off after the first use. Also for the first month or two when my horse sweat, the coloring would stain my saddle pad. It also puts you in a bad position for flat work. It pushes you up out of the saddle, making it very hard to sit the trot or canter.
Quality: The construction and quality is very nice, it's the design that has it's flaws.
Summary: For the price this is a very good saddle for schooling and just hacking around the barn, but definitely not a show saddle. It is good for jumping, but requires a little more work on the riders part to do flat work with it.
