Purchase: I paid $119 for this girth on Ebay. It was new with tags from an online tack shop that uses Ebay.
Likes: Very, very pretty girth. The fancy stitching is done in a crisp white and the whole girth is top stitched in the same. The leather is beautiful and oils up great. the fleece is detachable with velcro which I like. It made oiling it easier to be sure. I like the look very much and am excited about "showing off" as it looks like it should cost at least $100 more.
Dislikes: The sheepskin is not as plush as I was hoping. It is soft, but not overly thick. The leather side of the girth has no additional padding, so it is leather, velcro, and sheepskin on the horse. Ordering it over the internet, I didn't squeeze it before I bought it. Also, although I like the split leather end, the splits are really long and show below my saddle flap almost making the girth look too small!
Quality: I think the leather is very high quality. The stitching is perfect. The velcro seems rugged enough to last and the elastic is very . .. stretchy. Roller buckles make tightening easier too.
Summary: It is a beautiful girth, I wish it were a little softer on the horse's side, but I think it will work well.
