Purchase: I purchased this on sale from Dover Saddlery for $135, Full Size
Likes: It has the right look. It is padded, has nice fancy stitching, blocked keepers, finished edges, and is raised. The leather was pretty stiff when it arrived and I was worried I had made a mistake buying a cheap bridle, but it has taken well to being oiled.
Dislikes: There is something about the leather that is just not quite right. The padding leather is different from the rest of the bridle and hasn't gotten much darker. As the leather softens, it is stretching, which I expect, but the keepers are loosing their shape a little.
Quality: It is okay. Little errors in stitching, but nothing overly noticeable. The leather is getting softer, but it took a lot of work to get it there. Not exactly the supple bridle leather you get on much more expensive tack.
Summary: A fair schooling bridle with the look of a show bridle. You get what you pay for and nothing more with this bridle.
