Purchase: I purchased the Helmet from Dover's mail order catalog for $399.00 without NYS tax and shipping added. I needed a light colored, well ventilated, safe helmet for endurance riding and pleasure trail riding.
Likes: The fit is perfect. I ordered the Brown/Brown color and am very happy, the look is sharp! The safety features listed with this brand of helmets are very reassuring. The vents worked very well in hot weather.
Dislikes: Not one thing. GPA helmets are THE best.
Quality: The construction of the 3 point chinstrap is the best I have worn yet, very comfortable and easy to attach/unattach. The flexible brim is a comforting quality in a helmet, and this helmet is durable and has not lost it's shape.
Summary: This helmet was worth the steep price. Lets face it, GPA helmets are not cheap. And nothing in the Horse World comes cheap for that matter. I firmly believe a helmet is the place where the most investment is to be made and "Treat" ourselves with.
