Purchase: I got this mini Beastie Brush because I loved the full-sized one my husband uses on his goat. I have small hands, so I thought that the smaller version of the brush might suit me better. I bought it from Country Supply for about $3.00
Likes: It's small and handy and fits easily in the door pocket of my truck, making it convenient to take with me to horse training jobs.
Dislikes: The standard Beastie Brush is way better! This mini Beastie is a little too small, and the bristles are flimsy. It doesn't remove dust very well and it's hopeless to try and remove mud with it. It doesn't clean out very well either, but tends to trap hair and dust in the bristles.
Quality: This is a synthetic brush, and while it's well-made, the design is poor. The bristles are too long for the size of the brush body, making them bend and crush easily, and making the brush pretty ineffective on dust.
Summary: Buy the standard Beastie Brush!!! That brush is awesome, but the mini version is pretty useless.
