Purchase: Found these boots on sale (!) at the local Farmway shop in Bradford Vermont. I had been looking at lace up paddocks for a while and when these showed up in the Bargain Loft they were MINE! I paid $75.00 in 2004.
Likes: Strong, sturdy footwear. Absolutely no- slip tread. I call it my four wheel drive boot. If I need to be on my feet all day the arch support and deep heel cup are heaven-sent. The leather is amazing. It can take all the muck and mire of a stable and with a bit of a polish buff up to a mirror shine,
Dislikes: The price. I know I need to get over it! the retail cost is in the area of $135. I am old enough to remember $30 boots. Sigh.........
Quality: I haven't been able to destroy these boots yet! I am notoriously tough on shoes. I cannot get over how these boots last. I use them every day. They are outstanding quality.
Summary: I will buy the same boot forever. Actually I am trying to figure out how to stock up on this boot so I will always have a supply on hand. I love them. Belly up and pay the price they are worth every penny!!
