Purchase: I acquired this unit 3 years ago and I paid $250.00 then. I believe the price now is $295.00. A friend bought one and I liked what I saw.
Likes: I have been driving for 30 years and this harness has many of the features I liked on the harnesses I have had over the years. The leather is good quality and the chrome fittings are low maintenance. The harness is heavy enough for marathons and moderate work around the farm and fancy enough for shows around our area. A good quality all around harness. Ron was extremely helpful.
Dislikes: There isn't too much I don't like about this harness but one thing does annoy me. The girth strap keeper is sewn too close to the buckle and it is hard to get the strap thru it. I solved this by just not using that keeper. I don't usually write into these questionnaires but when I came across a bad review here I thought it was grossly unfair and felt obliged to answer. I found Ron most obliging and had him do some extra work when my mare chewed her breast plate. He not only repaired it free of charge but returned it at his cost. You could not ask for better service.
Quality: Good quality and construction.
Summary: You couldn't go wrong for the price. The service before and after the sale is phenomenal.
