Purchase: I purchased my barrel saddle over the internet from HORSELOVERZ.com for $190 plus $13 for shipping.
Likes: I have used the saddle for training, hacking, trail riding, and endurance riding. This saddle is very comfortable and fits very well. I really liked the highback seat. The equileather fender and side jockeys are nice and pliable and they bend in any direction you can think of and still show no crease or sign of bending. This saddle is very comfortable and will withstand any type of wear. I by accident left mine in the rain for 2 days and it dried out and you would not even know any better.
Dislikes: The horn on the saddle came with the outer cover of the horn broken so i had to put duck tape on it to keep it from breaking any more.
Quality: Construction is with a synthetic like leather material. Fleece underneath.
The quality is better than excellent except for the horn material, which is a brittle type plastic, which broke during shipping.
Other than that this product would receive a 4.5 our of 5 rating.
Summary: Excellent product. I will never buy any other.
