Purchase: It's been several years since I purchased this blanket, but I believe it was purchased from State Line Tack, for about $190. At the time, I lived in very Northern New York and felt it would be good protection from our "monsoon" rains in the Fall.
Likes: So far, it is the ONLY blanket that has fit my mare without rubbing. And...it doesn't shift, even though she is turned out 24-7.
Dislikes: Nothing (except maybe the color)
Quality: The construction and quality are top notch. This blanket was purchased 10 years ago and shows NO wear and it has been very well used.
Summary: Thought you might enjoy a little story about this product. In January 1998, we in the North Country (New York) experienced a terrible ice storm. It rained and froze for 5 days. We were unable to get to the boarding facility for all of that time. Fortunately, I had dressed Windy in her Rambo the day before the storm hit! I wish I could submit a photo that I have ....When I finally got to her, she had icicles hanging from her muzzle and chin, and from the edges of the Rambo, but she was absolutely warm and dry, under the blanket. This is, by far, the best piece of horsewear I've ever purchased.
