Likes: I like the idea of a western saddle with no horn. I also thought it was being made to fit my walker which has a wide back.
Dislikes: When it arrived, there were spots all over the saddle where they had missed with the dye. I had ordered a black and parts of it were not dyed at all. It was spotted at the back of the seat, the straps on the stirrup leathers were only partly dyed and yet I was assured that this was a custom made saddle. It looked to me as though it had been made and then somebody had brushed the dye on it after it had been assembled and it left a pinky beige leather in some areas. Under the fenders had nothing at all. It was a different color. When I asked about this I was told that they should have spotted it with " shoe polish " before it was sent.
Quality: The pommel was very bumpy and crudely made. Some of the leather cuts were crooked and uneven, and the dye that was on the saddle came off all over my t-shirt as I was looking it over.
Summary: I rode in this saddle to try it out and it was awful. It held my thighs out away from my horse and I could not get a leg on. I sent this saddle back and would not recommend it to anyone as in my opinion I feel the remaining dye might come off and the quality was very poor.
