Jumping Saddles
Manufacturer: Forestier
Model: Segonzac
Category: Jumping Saddles
Purchase: I bought this saddle gently used. The seller was asking $2000
Likes: This saddle makes me feel very secure in the tack without extra bulk, and puts my leg in a good position. It also fits my horse fantastically and I do not need any extra padding other than a thin saddle pad.
Dislikes: In the past few months that I have had this saddle I have not found anything I dislike.
Quality: The leather that this saddle is made of is very high quality. The seat and knee rolls are a gorgeous calf skin, and the flaps are printed leather and very durable. The saddle looks great no matter what.
Summary: This saddle is of similar quality to the other French saddles that I looked at, and yet the price was much more reasonable as they are not that common in North America. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a higher end saddle but wouldn't mind saving a few dollars!
