Purchase: I purchased these boots at a local tack shop for $150.00 Canadian.

Likes: I love how slim the calf is and how the foot is much more low-profile than Mountain Horse's other winter tall boot, the Rimfrost. For the extra $20-$30 bucks, it's definitely worth getting the ice riders, may more comfortable and no clunky feeling when walking, unlike the rimfrost. They stand up to the cold just as well, here in Canada we have -40 C winters so it can get pretty cold...

Dislikes: The zipper can get a bit testy..especially when you're trying to do them up with gloves on.

Quality: The foot bed and liner is warm and comfortable. The outside is sleek, and waterproof. The zipper makes them a breeze to put on...no more boot pulls!

Summary: If you are debating over the Mountain Horse Rimfrost or Ice Riders, definitely get the Ice Riders...you won't regret it.
