Purchase: I ordered this blanket from a local shop. The price was $220 CND +tax.
Likes: The 1800 denier ballistic nylon shell with 350 grams of fill is exactly what's needed for our extreme winter temperatures out here on the prairies. The fit, workmanship and materials of this blanket are the best of the best. Great features like the adjust once and then snap front closure with velcro, removable tail flap and 3M moisture wicking interior make blanketing fast and easy. You don't want to be messing around with a blanket when it's blizzarding and -30C I can tell you. The blanket is also stylish and looks great on.
Dislikes: Nothing bad about it. I love it. Worth every penny and my horse is warm as toast in his run in even when it's -37C with windchill.
Quality: Everything about this blanket is first rate. The hardware, design, features and materials are all premium quality.
Summary: If you live in an extreme winter climate like we do out here in Western Canada, then your horse should have a solid, warm winter blanket. Don't cheap out and get an inferior blanket, get the best and be done with it. The 1800 denier nylon with hold up year after year and the 350g will keep your horse warm even when it's brutally cold outside.
