Purchase: I purchased this unit from an online tack store through Ebay, user name Imapaintchictoo. Very nice lady. I had looked at the showman saddle prior to purchase and realized it was very nice for the price. Average price is about 750-900 depending on where you buy it. I had a limited budget so ordered one and paid 905.00 with shipping.
Likes: I like the quality of the leather and it is very comfortable and very flashy for the price.
Dislikes: SOME of the silver pieces are not true silver. on the skirt, they use real silver. The cantle and swell plates are just coated metal and the "paint" peels off exposing the real metal. I purchased new montana silversmith pieces for the swell for about 50.00 and will need to buy the cantle piece for about 100.00 so that will make it over a 1000.00 saddle. Before buying I'd check to see if they'll warranty it for you.
Quality: very good quality construction. very comfortable
Summary: Awesome leather quality and comfort for a nice price. Be prepared for the silver to peel and take it into consideration. I like the saddle so I can't just rate on the silver.
