Purchase: I bought these Fawn colored gloves in March in a Dover Spring Sale Catalog. I wanted to match my tan riding helmet and with the hopes of having a sturdy glove as well. I paid a sale price of $20.00 without shipping and tax.
Likes: Only the fact that they were Fawn colored and matched my helmet. That's it.
Dislikes: I am so disappointed! I have usually had super great experiences with Ariat Products. The catalog add stated these gloves were the standard in performance. Well.. not these. They did poorly over normal use from March to November. Please note I did not abuse these gloves either. These gloves also were the proper fit and size for my hands.
Quality: The construction literally came apart at the seams. I am currently having both gloves re-sewn. The Left glove from the inner thumb all the way to pointer area and the Right glove in two places. The seam in between the pinky and ring finger and the inner thumb all the way to pointer area as well.
Summary: It is costing me $15.00 to have a seamstress re sew the opened seams. I would suggest to Ariat that they use a more durable thread for these gloves. They did not live up to the Tek-Grip name.
