Purchase: I bought this saddle from G&G Flatshod Farms 2 years ago. Saddle and breaststrap cost $900
Likes: This is an endurance saddle that I use for the trail. It is INCREDIBLY comfortable and made of the softest leather I've ever seen. It encourages an upright, centered riding position without interfering with the movement of my gaited horse. I've gotten many, many comments and compliments on it from other riders AND saddle fitters!
My horse and I both like the adjustable crossfire rigging and I love the endurance handhold. It's much safer than a saddlehorn and I don't rope cattle anyway! The seat is incredibly deep and secure and the saddle is light. This will be my saddle forever!!
Dislikes: Nothing. I did have a problem with it creaking for a long time, until I turned it upside down and dusted all leather surfaces with babypowder. That solved the problem.
Quality: Excellent leather, comfortable design. Saddlefitters have oohed and aahed over the quality of the leather.
Summary: This is the perfect trail saddle. I doubt that this one will ever wear out, but if something happens to it, I'll buy the same saddle again. Why mess with perfect???
