Purchase: I bought this dressage saddle from CMTack.com because they were offering a free gullet kit with the purchase. (They are wonderful to deal with.) I was looking for a temporary saddle to get me through about 6 months before I could buy a nicer one. I thought this looked like a decent saddle for the price
Likes: It seemed well constructed and I liked the adjustable gullet system. The wide gullet fit my horse very well.
Dislikes: Even though it was a great fit for my horse, I couldn't ride worth a darn in it. I felt like the seat was a mile wide and I couldn't really sit in it, let alone post. It put me in a chair seat and threw me off balance terribly. I would definitely not recommend this saddle - just buy a well-known brand saddle used. It will probably work out better.
Quality: The gullet changing wasn't exactly easy, but it was doable. After I figured everything out, I was able to change it in 10 minutes. The saddle did seem well made though.
Summary: I think there are much better designed saddles out there. But a well-known brand used, I wish I had done this.
