Purchase: I actually got a set of 2 saddle pads from tack of the day for only $25 dollars. Best deal anywhere! I have had very positive experiences dealing with them, or their normal store "Bit of Britain".
Likes: These saddle pads are really great pieces of equipment. They have held up VERY well to my hard use for the past 6 months. Only this month have they begun to finally show wear (under the girth area), but they have been used every day and washed often....so i was overall very pleased with the price/value ratio. They're fairly plain looking, but that's not a negative for me.
Dislikes: They are not very cushioning for the horse...mostly just good as sweat absorption for a well-fitting saddle. As long as you don't purchase them assuming they will pad your horse, you will be satisfied.
Quality: Very well built for the price. After having been worn every day this summer and washed probably 2x a week they have just begun to show wear. And frankly, just in time for me to want to update our look: can't have the same plain saddle pads forever!
Summary: These saddle pads hold up very well. Not too expensive, but are fairly high quality. They are also not very thickly padded, but work superbly as a sweat-absorber to protect your well-fitting saddle.
