Purchase: I acquired this boot from my local feed store for $69.99. I was looking for a tall boot for our cold, wet fall weather.
Likes: This boot fits extremely comfortably. I like the tall, calf hugging - stretch - bonded top seam. The boot was 100% waterproof when going through 6 inch deep mud and wasn't pulled off my foot by the suction of the mud. Now that the snow has come, the boot continues to be comfortable and the tall, calf hugging feature keeps the snow from going into the boot.
Temperatures of 13-19 degrees have been comfortable and my feet have stayed warm and dry. I have also noticed that when walking on hard-pack snow, the soles are not slippery.
Dislikes: I had hoped to find the boot comfortable for riding but the softness of the sole did not support my foot as I had wanted when riding dressage. Also, there is not a specific heel for riding safely.
Quality: So far I have not had any problem with the construction or quality of the boot. I believe it to be a handsome boot and I wear it to the grocery store.
Summary: Overall, I found this boot to be perfect for our wet, cold weather and do not anticipate any problems during the wet, cold spring weather.
