Purchase: I bought these breeches from Ricks Saddle Shop in NJ. I spent $200 or so on one pair.
Likes: I really like the fit of these breeches. I liked the way they had a "true" low rise and didn't go up to your armpits like Tailored Sportsman!
These breeches are really nice, lightweight, you can really move in them. In the winter, you can fit some layers underneath without sizing up.
I really like the look of the Tailored Sportsman, what Ariat lacks in look they make up in workmanship and comfort. Another plus is that you still have great quality that rivals Tailored Sportsman and is about $20-$30 cheaper! Plus, you can throw them in the washer.
Dislikes: LOVE these breeches. My only complaint is how dirty they get! I don't know...maybe it's me? I may attract dirt but it seems these stain very easily. It was so bad the first couple times I wore them that I ended up scotch guarding my breeches.
The Tailored Sportsman seem to have held up a little better in that department.
Quality: Beautiful workmanship. The quality is superb.
