Purchase: I bought these boots at a tack store in FL, but they are easily found at State Line Tack and on-line at Pet smart. They are about $90, and WELL worth it! I bought these boots because they are made of urethane. I wanted something easier to care for than leather, and truth be told, I was being CHEAP!

Likes: I LOVE that they are already soft. I rode in them one time and they already felt broken in! They are also INCREDIBLY easy to care for! At the end of the day, I take the hose to them and THAT'S IT! I have worn them every day for the last couple of months for riding, training, and general barn work and with one rinse and a little cleaner, they still look and feel great! I am getting ready to buy another pair just to keep nice for shows. The best part is... you can't tell they aren't leather until you feel them! Great for show and especially for Pony Clubbers!

Dislikes: The only thing about tall boots in general is that us short people have to get every pair fixed by a leather-repair person. The good thing is that these boots are just as easy, or easier to be shortened. Just like leather boots!

Quality: Again, the boots are made of urethane. They aren't at all bulky like the PVC boots of the past. So far, I have not noticed any faults in the workmanship of these boots. I am tough on them, and they still look brand new (so scuff marks)!

Summary: I would recommend these boots to everyone I know. They are inexpensive and you still get the look and feel of a leather boot without the break-in time and without paying a hefty price! I might not ever go back to leather if they continue to make these boots!
