Purchase: Bought this saddle new in a tack shop for $250 as a cheap training saddle
Likes: The saddle looks very nice for the price and is quite comfortable, the leather is OK for the price
Dislikes: The supplied latigo straps are a NO-NO-NO, the rear cinch is too short for my horse and i had to remove it
Quality: The saddle itself is made reasonably well for a $250 saddle, it's made of Indian leather and so it's a bit stinky, but it should get better with some use and some oiling.
The supplied latigo straps are a joke, they're made from a really nasty waxed leather that cannot be oiled and is also quite stiff and weak, you really want to throw them in the trash and put something better in their place for your safety.
Summary: Good for a $250 saddle, not for heavy riding
