Purchase: I purchased this saddle in Canada at one of local tack shops for $2700.00 Canadian (taxes included)
Likes: First and foremost the pictures of this saddle anywhere do this saddle no justice! This saddle is beautiful! This cost(and it is cheaper on the internet)is very good for the quality, just make sure that you order the wool flocked not rubber. My particular saddle is wool flocked and is able to be restuffed which is great if you purchase a slightly smaller or larger horse. The leather is soft and all of the padding on the saddle is in the right places! As for the color when it came to me it was tan in color, but once I oiled it and balmed it, it is now a rich havana color, beautiful! As for the dye, even when I oiled or had it on my white saddle pads there was MINIMAL dye transfer (which is expected anyway)but I was impressed!
Dislikes: I have yet to find anything that I do not like about it! Happy Customer!
Quality: Like I said above I am very happy with the leather and how supple it has become in a small amount of time. The color when oiled is extremely even and has no blotches at all! There are no creaks (sounds) when you ride in this saddle and my horse loves it and she is picky with saddles if you can believe it! Overall I am impressed with this saddle and it's quality!
