Advantage Gold Reining Saddle
Reining Saddles
Manufacturer: Pards Western Shop
Model: Advantage Gold Reining Saddle
Category: Reining Saddles
Purchase: I purchased this unit approximately 4 years ago. It took me a while to find this particular saddle. If you are reading these reviews then you know that there are many, many different "types/ brands" of reining saddles. I was looking specifically for a reining saddle with very little if any rise in the seat. I prefer to ride in a western saddle that has a relatively flat seat, it is just more comfortable for me. Anyway so many of the reining saddles that I had looked at had way to much rise for my tastes. I had also tried many different friend's saddles at this point, in order to find one that I really, really liked. It was very important to me, because I spend a great deal of time in the saddle. Anyway I was searching on the new, and happened to find Pard's website, after looking at it for around 20 minutes found a saddle (the advantage gold) which appeared to have very little rise in it. I then proceeded to call pards, and ask many questions regarding the Advantage Gold reining saddle. They were very helpful. It also turned out that they had a "used" one in stock. I drove the 4 hours down to Pard's and fell in love with the AGRS. This saddle is much better than it looks online. If you are considering a reining saddle this would be a very good saddle to consider. I highly recommend this saddle.
Likes: It has superior quality. It is very well balanced. This saddle is a close contact saddle, and really puts you over the horses center of gravity. The leather is the best I have ever seen. This is the type of saddle to last for many, many years to come.
Dislikes: There isn't anything that I do not like about this saddle. If I am ever shopping for another reining saddle, Pard's will be my choice.
Quality: Superior quality and construction. Superior leather, and craftsmanship.
Summary: Again I would recommend this saddle to anyone looking for a nice, quality saddle. They also have really nice work saddles. (I own a versatility work saddle that is superior quality). I highly recommend any of the advantage saddles from Pard's. If I could I would give there saddles 10 stars. You can't go wrong with an AGRS
