Purchase: I bought this pad off the website: gaitsofgold.com. I paid about 35.00. My horses withers were con-caved due to an ill fitting saddle. I was told to use this pad until his withers filled out again. I also ordered a saddle from them, (later review), and a comfort snaffle,(review in western acc), The pad offers more shoulder movement as the gaited horse needs. I put this in this category because it can be used with any saddle.
Likes: The pad has inserts so you can adjust the shoulder room you need. Plus its washable and you can sew it on your pad then use the attached velcro strip to remove and wash. My horse started gaiting better.
Dislikes: Only comes in one color.
Quality: Construction and quality are decent. I may have been able to come with the same concept had I seen the product and tried to make it myself. Easier to buy.
Summary: I highly recommend this pad to ANY horse that your saddle doesn't quite fit right.
