Purchase: Got it online in a kit....I think it was around $20, maybe?
Likes: Unlike other halters that you have to 'break in' before they're nice and smooth, the horseman's halter is already nice and flexible. It's small enough to wrap up and put into my pocket but strong enough to hold more than 2000 lbs. And the little leather thing on the bottom was pretty cool looking. If it gets dirty, all I have to do is soak it in a bucket with some soap and it looks good as new.
Dislikes: I can't think of any, except for the price, but it was only about $20. It's worth it.
Quality: Very high quality! My horse has broken two halters from pulling back but this rope halter doesn't even have wear marks from my mare misbehaving...and I've had it for most of the year.
Summary: If you're looking for a GREAT natural horsemanship halter....or just a nice looking halter that doubles as a hackamore, then get the Parelli halter. I'm never buying a different brand again!
