Purchase: When I got my mare (who is a morgan, which means VERY broad and short back) I needed a fitting saddle but all the ones I found where too small, so I got this for $1000.
Likes: Most show saddles can go from $2000 to $5000, but this saddle is show quality...but cheaper. And if I ever have to put it on a different horse, I can just change the width of the tree. Also, it is very comfy...and sticks right on my horse's back, even through high stepping trots.
Dislikes: Putting stirrup leathers on is hard work, but after cleaning/oiling the saddle it is very easy. Different colors would be a good idea because havana brown can only look good on so many horses!
Quality: High quality leather...the saddle seemed a bit 'cardboard' like at first (dry and stiff) but all new saddles are. It was worn in well and still looks good as new and keeps its shape.
Summary: If you're looking for an nice english saddle for schooling, trail, jumping, or just riding for fun, this is the perfect saddle. It's cheap, comfy, and will last forever!
