Purchase: I bought this product from Country supply for $20 to provide a bounce pad for my mare to absorb shock with beginner riders
Likes: I like that this products has vent holes. The price is very good if you are looking for a pad to try first. The pad will contour to your horses back, however, may take a few rides to contour best. Overall a great purchase.
Dislikes: While the pad contours to your horses back, expect it to take awhile AND the pad causes saddle slippage. This is the main problem we have found. The cinch has to be tighter to keep a rider on, which is not ideal.
Quality: The quality is good. It is essentially just foam with holes. It does it's job to absorb shock well and should last quite awhile.
Summary: The contour pad is a great buy if you are looking for a pad to absorb shock. Be sure to check saddle slippage if a beginner riding is riding.
