Purchase: I bought this saddle in 2000 brand-new from a dealer. I paid $2,500 for a saddle that was suppose to last me more than 10 years. He told me I wouldn't be sorry, it is a fabulous saddle. Also in my trainers barn there were 5 other people buying this same saddle. All of them have gotten rid of their saddles poor quality.
Likes: I loved the look and feel of the saddle (At first and NOT ANYMORE). It put me in the right position.
Dislikes: This saddle doesn't last! Do not buy this poor quality saddle. Within 4 years a 4 inch hole developed on the panel. I had to cut away the first layer of leather so it didn't bunch up under my leg. Now at 7 years of riding only one horse, the saddle has developed two holes on the seat where my seat bones lay. It looks horrible!
Quality: This is the poorest quality saddle I have ever owned. I have had purchased cheaper saddles that lasted longer than this supposedly high quality saddle.
Summary: Plus when I emailed Prestige pictures of the damage happening to my saddle. They said they would fix it for another $1,000. So in the end this horrible saddle will cost me $3,500!! If I am going to have to put $1,000 to make this saddle look great again than I am going to buy another new saddle (IT WILL NOT A PRESTIGE SADDLE !!) Lost customer for LIFE!!
