Purchase: I bought this saddle from a friend for $325 (including a bridle, girth, stirrup leathers, stirrups, a girth, and a saddle cover) as a first saddle for use in regular lessons at a local barn.
It is also available new at Greenhawk for $330 CDN (saddle only)
Likes: This saddle is good for a number of reasons. First of all it is extremely light and is a lot easier to take from place to place compared to a leather saddle, especially if you're always taking it to and from the barn. This saddle is amazingly easy to clean as it is synthetic, and you never have to worry about riding in different weather conditions. It is durable, comfortable, and good enough for all around english riding.
Dislikes: my stirrup bars were damaged and impossible to fix. but that was more my fault than the saddle's. so other than that, there's nothing bad to say about this saddle. some of the stitching was coming a little loose, but that was only because of wear and would eventually happen to any saddle.
Quality: The quality of this saddle is good for its price. The one i used lasted a couple of years at least, and if it wasn't for the stirrup bar incident it looked like it could have lasted much longer.
Summary: I think that this is a great saddle for any beginner rider or as any one's first saddle, or for anyone on a budget. Its good for the money you might spend on it, and if looked after, could last many years.
