Model: 1994 Reiner / Roper
Category: Reining Saddles
Purchase: This saddle came with the purchase of my horse, in 2004. By this time it was 10 years old, and in mint condition. It had never been ridden in. I paid 3600 for my horse, and roughly 800 of that went to the saddle.
Likes: The leather formed to fit me within the first 6 months, and the free hanging jockeys let me cue and turn my horse freely. My horse was not broke to ride when I got him, and I wouldnt pick a different saddle to start horses in.
Dislikes: The leather is soft, and so scratches easily, but other than that, its a great buy.
Quality: Great quality, and the shape and feel i get from riding in it is awesome!
Summary: Anyone who has ever ridden in a crates saddle, can attest that they are well made saddles. And they are great for breaking young horses, and riding old ones. Go get yourself one.
Usefulness Rating: 2.28571 out of 5.
