Purchase: I bought this saddle at the Dublin horse show , i must say that the sellers were really nice at advising me which saddle was right they let me sit up on it and everything , i needed it for x-country and a bit of show jumping and dressage , eventing, hunting and it really has done its job !! i paid around 700 euro for it and it was worth it !!
Likes: i like the deep seat which is very good for drops and ditches in hunting and cross country , its very close contact with the horse so u can use it for dressage and its comfortable for hacking and pleasure riding !! i also like the fact that the leather is good quality and doesn't change colour with use , it is very good for hunting because its easy to clean so i would recommend as a hunting saddle!!!
Dislikes: there are very few things i DONT like about this saddle and that's that the knee rolls are not very big so u cant grip in to well , the oil that i use to clean it with doesn't really dry in so it looks very greasy and that its not very flashy , there isn't anything very special about it !!
Quality: it is of good quality , hand made in Ireland with good leather and a strong tree , its very sturdy and a good saddle just to have at the yard !!
Summary: i do like this saddle i think that its good quality leather and its very sturdy , but its not very flashy , there is nothing special about it .. but its very good saddle for hunting and cross country an all rounder that's you can use for anything i would recommend it to people who aren't gonna be riding in any big shows and just want it for the weekly hunt !!
